lyrics
Raise my dagger
Above the altar
Prepare the rituals of the sacred void
Chant the rites
Bound to Khaos
As I bestow myself upon the progenitor
The fallacies of deities
Controlling me
I never trusted any of you
I confront what lies beyond
The forged gods
The essence of exinstance
This life is just a paradox
Against all odds
Coincidental creation
The chemistry is clear to me
As far as I believe
The only god I see is me
Candles lit
To read the verses
They echo through the dark halls
On the ground
Where the dust dwells
This is my purpose now, I descent from soil
Down I go
To escape the dreams of man
Down below
Where the darkness hides me from you
You try to see the world in symmetry
Believe in order as the law
Things left unexplained are miracles
Interventions of divinity
This world's been torn apart by hate and greed
Yet you fail to reason why
you forgot that you're a particle
In this universal turbulence
Let me ponder
Dissociate
I chose the hermit life
To submit to my maker
Isolated
In my abode
I pray for none but my own
Tormented soul
This life is just a paradox
Against all odds
Coincidental creation
The chemistry is clear to me
As far as I believe
The only god I see is me
Created
In the abyss
Where khaos solely dwells
The birth of creation
I really like this band, they got such a sludgetastic coolness about them. TORPOR swagger in between sludge, metal, doom and post metal with ease as if they've been writing this fantastic noise forever. Found another fave band of mine. Darknight
There are many ways to visually convey how heavy your band’s sound is, but is any better than a huge stack of speakers? I like stoner metal more than doom but both are combined here so masterfully that Void Emissions is a lot more than the sum of its parts. Do you like riffs with a guitar tone so beefy that everything in a five-kilometre radius that is not bolted down will surely be blown away? Sure you do. And vocals that perfectly suit the psychedelic vibe? Do what is right. Do it now. Ippocalyptica
Wow, I just had to buy this. All three tracks are amazing, the sound is so full and encompassing, it just envelopes you. I have it playing in the studio when I'm making - it's the perfect album for that - energizing and inspiring.

A stoner-rock opera with dystopian themes, the Italian band's third LP fuses apocalyptic fury with psychedelic splendor. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 29, 2023
